I created this resource, for my schools ‘Careers Focus Week’. It is full pack of career focus based activities to go with the theme of the week, designed to be used in tutor-time, focusing on the work of different careers and helping the students understand the roles of different careers and jobs around the world.
Activities include; What’s your dream job, focus week quiz, matching up old and modern apprenticeships, celebrities who did and didn’t have a degree, true or false apprenticeships and what did celebrities do before they were famous. All answers for each task are in the notes section of each activity slide, each task is designed to be completed in a fun, engaging and group based tutor time.

I created this resource for BTEC Level 3 Business Studies course (Unit 2 Developing a marketing campaign), but it could be used for any exam board. It is a checklist for all of the content that students need to know about the topic, in preparation for the assessment. They should use this as a working document, so they can track their learning and what the need to re-practice. It is a good tool to help students create any revision resources, i.e. mind-maps and cue cards etc. It is all on one PowerPoint slide for ease of understanding and layout. I have also included a PDF version.
Each section is colour coded, in relation to the specification! (See below for a guide). It also has a section on what should be included in a marketing campaign plan.
Green - A: Introduction to the principles and purposes of marketing that underpin the creation of a rationale for a marketing campaign.

I created this resource during my school’s multi-faith week. There is a card for each of the main religious festivals for world faiths. The cards are designed to help student gain and insight into what the festival involves. From the origins of the festival, to key traditions and things observed on those days.
The resource is a PPT, each festival has its own slide, so is easily adaptable! Can be cut up and displayed around the classroom, place of worship or around the school. Great for use within RE lessons, to help students gain a basic precept of what the festivals and religious faith entails.

I created this resource, as part of the Catholic Life at my school. It is a reflection service based on Year 11 Exam Stress. The theme is; we are all UNIQUE! It is a full service bundle, containing the essentials for a engaging, effective and relaxing service.
The service itself is designed to help students reflect on the good, the bad and what they want to achieve in the future. Recognising that they are UNIQUE. With time for self-reflection and meditation. It is perfect for a whole year group, during form time or a lesson should you wish to. Although it is based on Year 11 and exams it could be adapted for any year group.
Included is a PPT containing everything needed for service, all the music and videos are imbedded for full effect. A Word document is also included, containing a plan for the service and all the reading which correspond with the numbers on the slide in a blue box, in the top right corner. I created this resource for Business Studies, it could be used for any exam board or level. It is a full lesson on the topic of Place, within the marketing. With the lesson focusing on the 'effectiveness of place in business.
Included is lesson starters, task and plenaries. Key content that should be learnt; key words, distribution channels and factors affecting place. In each slide is a set task designed to help students apply their knowledge to the theory task. They also allow them to practise for exams by applying knowledge and understanding. As well as the tasks, students should write down the relevant information, that they feel will be useful for when revising.
At the end is a video, summarising the lesson content and a worksheet that students should fill, giving you a chance to see what they have learnt - Exam Practise! It includes, exam questions, definitions and explaining a concept through diagrams. This could be used a worksheet, knowledge test or lesson summary. This resource has been created to allow pupils to look at a source or object and use their inference skills to share what they think and know about it. Allowing pupils to be creative and engaging in their thinking by the simple words which pose as questions for pupils to think about out.
For example, when exploring a certain topic, you can place the window over the object and let the pupil infer! Or when, you are starting a news class book you can place the window of the book cover as use the word/questions prompts to see what your pupils think and can infer.
Simply, print this out (X how many you require, a good idea is to have on per pair!) and then cut out the big centre white box (says cut this out), making sure you don’t go through the lines or cut the word prompts out. The full A4 sheet when cut correctly, with show instructions for pupils to follow. Then laminate! This will fit a standard A4 laminating sheet.

I created this resources as part of my PGCE interview preparations for Religious Education and thought it would be useful to share for those who went through the same process as me as I know it is a very anxious and nerve racking experience. While, I this for a Secondary subject specific interview, the questions will remain the same regardless of subject or level, inc. primary, secondary and FE.
Included in the grid are questions that I was asked and those which I found through research to be the most likely questions to be asked. Most of the time they key questions always asked are - why do you want to be a teacher, why do you want to teach this subject, a behavior management questions, a safeguarding question and a subject knowledge question as well as others which are included. So, it is a good idea to have a solid idea of how you would answer these questions and be prepared - remember you are showing them your potential as a teacher!
I personally printed them and noted down some answers so I had a prompt when I was asked them. If you have an online interview (like I did because of COVID-19) then you could display them around your camera to prompt your responses but remember don’t stare at them or focus on them too long as you don’t want your interviewer thinking that you’re distracted.
